Over the years Nick has brought his cooking and Scottish food into the public eye, from his first television series, Wild Harvest, to his appearance on Iron Chef UK, via cooking for the Queen in Great British Menu. His many other television, radio and public appearances include a regular slot on Ready Steady Cook and Saturday Kitchen, co-presenting BBC Scotland’s rural affairs programme Landward, plus Put Your Menu Where Your Mouth Is, Eating in The Sun, The One Show and plenty more. He has become a popular figure by communicating his ideas with passion. As a result, he is now one of the UK’s most recognisable chefs.
With celebrity comes responsibility. What Nick says in public can make a difference. His integrity demands that he believes in what he talks about, whether the topic is what we eat as a nation, children’s diet, a new restaurant or a great saucepan. This makes him an excellent choice as public speaker, cooking demonstrator, private host or someone to front an idea or venture, large or small, public or private. It also means he has to respect any product, brand or project you bring to the table in order for him to come on board.
