POP-UP RESTAURANT
Last 6 tickets for my first ever pop-up restaurant at the Cook School this week - 31st Jan, 7.30. Taster of the menu: seared scallop & chorizo picante, cullen skink tartlets, salad of winter veg and rare roast beef fillet, truffle & horseracish, miso roast salmon udon noodles, squid shrimp and soy broth, passionfruit brulee, burnt orange salad - all for £49 a head. Yes, the second Nick Nairn Cook School is on the way with plans to open in spring this year in central Aberdeen. It will be fully equipped with spanking Falcon induction ovens for classes of 24, plus facilities for new pop-in classes.
